It has been reported that four mega infrastructure projects of Lahore, are given approval, by the Chief Minister of Punjab, Usman Buzdar. According to the news, the worth fixed for these projects in total is PKR 10 billion.

These infrastructure projects were presented to the CM by Ahmed Aziz Tarar the Director General (DG) of Lahore Development Authority (LDA), for the approval, few days back. Moreover, in negotiation with the institute of National Engineering Services Pakistan (NESPAK), the outline of the project was prepared by Mazhar Hussain Chief Engineer (LDA).
Here are some LDA-approved housing projects in Lahore.
Instructions given by CM Punjab say that the projects’ approval must be done by the relevant agencies, following the completion of PC-1. Additionally, this project will also include the construction of eight ramps and Turbo roundabouts at Shadara with a cost of PKR 5 billion. 300,000 vehicles are said to benefit from the roundabouts.
Besides, a 6.5 km along carriageway leading from Ghazi Road to Bhatti Chowk is also a part of these infrastructure projectss. The total estimated cost of the construction and renovation of this carriageway is said to be PKR 1.8 billion. You can click here to read more about construction tips.
Furthermore, eight junctions of Lahore including Bhatti Chowk, Data Darbar, Faisal Chowk, Gulshan Ravi T Junction, Nishtar Junction, and Kahna Kacha Roundabout will be upgraded. The worth for the up-gradation of these junctions is PKR 1.40 billion. There will also be the restoration of Data Nagar Burj and the region adjacent to it, with a cost of PKR 900 million.
